SARMAT SWIMWEAR
Free as the sea
Sarmat was born in Maremma Toscana, from our passion for the sea and our desire for a more inclusive fashion, with real beauty standards, for all women.
Sarmat was born from the feeling that we ourselves experience, and that many other women experience, of feeling uncomfortable in a bathing suit and of not finding a costume that really suits our body.
So two years ago we began a study to improve the swimsuit in every aspect and make it the best ally for every woman.
A fashion item that is used at the beach, but also used in everyday life: Bodysuits, tops and briefs that can be used every day, for every occasion, a real item of clothing.
Furthermore, madly loving the sea, a focal point of Sarmat is sustainability, an invaluable value, beneficial for the environment and for every woman. Innovative sustainable fabrics, sustainable packaging, Made in Italy production, are part of our desire to create a slower and more beneficial fashion for our planet.
Timeless versatile design
Our garments are designed and built to last. We believe in “Let’s buy less but better” and with this aim we have designed and created our garments not only to be used at the beach, but also in everyday life for all occasions. Our pieces are resistant and of high quality, created to last over time and to never go out of fashion: Their modern minimal chic style, with an elegant and sensual touch, makes them ageless garments that never go out of fashion and that can be combined for any occasion.
Production cycle completely made in Italy
Each piece is designed in Tuscany, and produced in the province of Rome, with certified Italian sustainable fabrics.
We work with small factories and artisan workshops to ensure that our garments receive the right attention where we are sure that the work is done responsibly and sustainably.
It's also nice to work with small, genuine businesses like ours!
Sustainable Materials
Our commitment to reducing environmental impact is visible throughout our production process. For our garments we use sustainable fabrics that are beneficial for the environment and for us.
Our commitment to reducing environmental impact starts with the choice of our suppliers, including Brugnoli, which produces 100% in Italy at km0 and has been committed to sustainability for years and uses sustainable production processes and yarns including Br4® technology that reduces water and energy consumption by 20% compared to standard production processes and uses a bio-based polyamide, derived from the castor plant, a completely renewable and petroleum-free source.
Our goal is to raise awareness about the seriousness of global pollution and offer you clothes that are respectful for the environment and that have incredible properties for our body and skin.
